NICK ARMSTRONG
Nick Armstrong brings a passion for youth development, a multi-sport background, and strong leadership skills to the TSA coaching team. A lifelong athlete who played a variety of sports growing up, Nick has spent the past six seasons coaching in TSA's Lakeland Recreational program, helping young players build confidence, learn the game, and develop a love for soccer. Nick holds a US Soccer Grassroots Coaching License and believes in creating fun, positive environments where kids can grow both on and off the field. Outside of soccer, Nick has built an impressive career in the medical device industry, with over 20 years of experience, and currently serves as Inventory Manager for Medline Foot & Ankle. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Christian Brothers University, followed by a Master’s in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas. Nick is a proud Lakeland dad to two children, ages 7 and 5, who are actively involved in a variety of local sports. His commitment to the community and dedication to developing young athletes make him a valuable part of the TSA coaching family.

SEAN ANDRE
Sean serves as the Executive Director of Tennessee Soccer Academy and President of Midsouth Futbol. With an impressive 48 years of combined experience in playing, coaching, and directing at various levels, he is a dedicated and passionate leader. Originally from the Memphis area, Sean was a highly recruited D1 goalkeeper for Germantown Fury Soccer Club and Memphis Futbol Club during his youth. As a member of the TN Olympic Development Program and a four-year varsity starter in high school, he earned numerous accolades, including All-Region, All-Metro, All-State, and Best of Preps honors. Throughout his coaching career, Sean has led multiple teams to State Championship titles at both the club and high school levels. He has been instrumental in developing youth players for state, regional, and national Olympic program teams, while also preparing and promoting players to regional, national, and collegiate soccer programs. Sean has actively created curriculum models and implemented player developmental programs across all levels of youth soccer. His resourcefulness and collaborative approach have been key in finding effective solutions and inspiring players and coaches to achieve their goals. Sean has been happily married to his wife Heather for 29 years and is the proud father of two remarkable daughters, Brooklyn and Haley. He holds the US Soccer Federation National "C" License and the United Soccer Coaches "National Diploma."

JOHN BERRA
John grew up playing soccer in the St. Louis area when he was 5. He was a candidate for the ODP Mid West team and continues playing soccer today in the GMSA Division I men’s league. John’s coaching career includes teams at St. Louis Busch & Wolfpack, the Dallas Stars, Memphis Futbol Club, and Fury. Coach John holds the US Soccer Federation National “D” license.

CADE COGGIN
Coach Cade Coggin grew up playing competitive soccer in the Memphis, TN, and East Texas areas with various clubs. During his club years, he was a member of the Texas Olympic Development Program. In high school, Cade was a three-year varsity player, earning numerous all-district athletic and academic accolades. After graduating high school, Cade played collegiate soccer for four years at the University of the Ozarks. He recently completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a focus on Orthopedics from Arkansas State University.With over six years of experience coaching and training both boys and girls at the youth club level in Arkansas and Tennessee, Coach Cade brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for developing young athletes. His background in physical therapy enhances his ability to train players effectively and safely. Coach Cade is dedicated to fostering a positive and challenging environment where players can thrive and reach their full potential. Coach Cade holds the US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.

NATHAN ELSER
Coach Nathan Elser brings both passion for the game and a commitment to player development to the TSA coaching team. Originally from Pennsylvania, Nathan grew up playing for high school and club teams in his home state, building a lifelong love for the sport. With five years of experience coaching girls’ teams between the ages of 6U and 10U, Coach Nathan is known for creating fun, engaging, and educational environments for his players. He holds a US Soccer Grassroots License and continues to develop his coaching knowledge with every season. Professionally, Nathan is a Global Sustainability Manager in the Pulp and Paper Industry, helping drive positive environmental change in a vital sector. He holds a PhD in Biorenewable Systems, as well as a Master’s in Forest Resources and a Bachelor’s in Wood Science, all from Penn State University. Nathan and his family moved to Lakeland from Pennsylvania about 3.5 years ago. His wife teaches business and marketing at Lakeland Preparatory School, and together they are raising three daughters (ages 10, 8, and 4)—all active in the Lakeland community. Coach Nathan is dedicated to helping young players learn the game, grow their confidence, and have fun doing it!

GREG GETMAN
Greg grew up in Bartlett, TN playing youth soccer and played competitively for the 1978 Rangers FC and Memphis Strikers where his team won the State Championship in 1992. Greg started coaching with the Arlington Recreation League in 2008 and coached with the Rush Soccer "School of Excellence" for 2 years. He then started coaching with ASA in 2014.  Greg has been playing and coaching with his brother Jeremy in the men’s soccer league for the Greater Memphis Soccer Association for 21 years. Coach Greg holds the US Soccer Federation National “D” license.

JEREMY GETMAN
Jeremy grew up in the Bartlett area playing for numerous recreational teams. Jeremy went on to play intramural at Arkansas State. For the past 20-plus years, he has been putting a team together in the men’s Greater Memphis Soccer Association where his team has won several Mabry cups and also has been able to win their division a few times. Jeremy has been married to his wife Kristin for 10 years and they have twins, one boy Sawyer, and one girl Mary Scott who both play soccer. Coach Jeremy holds the US Soccer Federation National “D” license.

JORDYN HENSLEY
Coach Jordyn Hensley is a proud product of the TSA program and brings energy, enthusiasm, and a strong passion for the game to her role as a coach. Jordyn began playing soccer at the age of 5 and quickly grew into a competitive club player with TSA, where she developed her technical skills and love for the game. She went on to play for the Arlington High School Varsity team and is currently continuing her playing career as a member of the Southwest College Women’s Soccer Team. Jordyn has gained valuable coaching experience through TSA’s summer camps and clinics, where she focuses on creating a positive and fun environment for players to grow and develop. She is currently working toward her US Soccer Grassroots License to further expand her coaching knowledge and impact. A graduate of Arlington High School, Jordyn is deeply committed to teaching kids the love of the game and giving back to the program that helped shape her soccer journey. Her player-first mindset and upbeat attitude make her a fantastic role model for young athletes.

SHAINA HOGAN
Coach Shaina Hogan brings a wealth of playing experience, a strong coaching foundation, and a deep love for the game to TSA’s coaching staff. A Wichita, Kansas native, Shaina played club and travel soccer for 14 years, was part of a Kansas 6A High School State Championship team, and competed on the Kansas ODP State Team for five years. She continued playing club soccer at the U.S. Naval Academy, and has stayed active in the game through leagues around the world for over 20 years. Shaina has coached young players in recreational soccer and holds a US Soccer Grassroots License, combining her technical knowledge and leadership skills to create a positive learning environment for her teams. Professionally, Shaina serves as a U.S. Navy Officer, and she brings the same discipline, teamwork, and passion for service into her role as a coach. She holds a Master’s degree and several certifications including PHR, SHRM-CP, and Lean Six Sigma (LSS). Shaina is married and a proud mom of two kids, and is excited to share her love of soccer with the next generation of players. Her commitment to youth development and well-rounded background make her a valued member of the TSA coaching family.

STEVEN KASTE
Steven Kaste grew up playing soccer in the Mid-South area, primarily as a defensive center midfielder and center back. His passion for the sport led him to gain his first license with US Soccer in 2001, initially serving as an assistant referee and later as a head referee for local and competitive games. During his college years, Steven played for the Mountain West club before joining the military. Even while serving in the Air Force, he continued to play in adult club leagues and coach various teams and camps in Mississippi and Arkansas. Since moving back to Memphis in 2016, Steven has brought his wealth of experience and knowledge to the local soccer community. With a strong background in both playing and officiating, Steven Kaste is dedicated to developing young talent and fostering a love for the game. Coach Steven holds the US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.

DIHN LEE
Coach Dihn Lee brings passion, energy, and a deep love for the game to every session he leads. A standout player at Sheffield High School, Dihn was recognized by Memphis Preps as one of the area’s top high school players. He continued to play competitively in the Memphis Adult League, showcasing his skill and dedication to the sport long after his school years. Dihn has coached men’s adult league teams and has been a committed volunteer in the TSA Lakeland Recreational program for six seasons, helping develop young players with his experience and enthusiasm. He holds a US Soccer Grassroots License and is always looking for ways to grow as a coach. Off the field, Dihn is a successful entrepreneur and owner of multiple restaurants in the area. Despite his busy schedule, he is deeply committed to coaching because of his unique passion for the game and love for teaching kids. Known for his positive attitude and dedication to player growth, Coach Dihn is a valued member of the TSA coaching staff and a true role model for aspiring young players.

KELLY MALONE
Kelly was born and raised in DeKalb, Illinois, where he started his journey in the sport through youth recreational leagues, progressing to the club level, and competing as a standout player for DeKalb High School varsity team. After high school, Kelly joined the NJCAA Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois, where he captained his Sophomore year and was nominated for Student-Athlete of the Year. He then transferred to Northern Illinois University graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business finance. In 2014, Kelly relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, where his passion for soccer reignited. He joined the GMSA league and began coaching in the recreational leagues with Germantown and Arlington with a dedication to sharing his knowledge and love for the game with the next generation. Whether on the field as a player or on the sidelines as a coach, Kelly continues to be driven by a passion for the game. Coach Kelly holds the US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.

GRANT PAULE
Grant was a local standout in the Memphis area as a player. He was a TN state team member from 1993-2000. He was on the ODP 1997-2000 Regional team. Best of Preps finalist 97-2000. A winner in 2000. Adidas TN state player of the year 2000. High school All-American 2000. High school state and National Champions 1999-2000 (Houston high school). State Tournament MVP 2000. Invited to Elite Soccer Program (esp) in 1999. Under 23 National pool in 2001. Played at the University of Memphis 2000-2001. Memphis Cup MVP 2002, while attending CBU 2002. Grant has developed players for the regional, national ODP, and professional levels. Grant is married to Annice Paule and has four children Elly, Emmy, Evie, and Gunnar who all play soccer. Coach Grant holds the US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.

RYAN PAULE
Ryan has been coaching in the Arlington Youth Soccer program for 13 years. The last 8 have been with Tennessee Soccer Academy. He played competitive soccer in Plano, TX, and Memphis, TN. Ryan played High School soccer for Germantown High School, earning All-Metro honors in 1992. He went on to play college soccer at Christian Brothers University. In 2022, Ryan coached the ASA 2009 Girls to a TN State Championship. Ryan has been married to his wife Bethany Paule for 18 years. He has three children, Sophia, Ava, and Mason who all play soccer. Coach Ryan holds the US Soccer Federation TN State “D” license.

THERESA RAMSEY
Coach Theresa Ramsey brings a lifetime love of soccer and a commitment to leadership and service to the TSA coaching staff. Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Theresa began her playing journey in recreational soccer, advancing to competitive club teams in Irvine and Mission Viejo, and playing four years of varsity soccer at Huntington Beach High School, where she earned All Sunset League honors. Theresa began coaching in 2021 with Lakeland and returned for TSA’s Spring 2025 season. She is a US Soccer Grassroots License holder and is passionate about helping young players develop their skills and confidence in a positive and fun environment. Professionally, Theresa serves as a Human Resources Officer in the United States Navy, bringing leadership, organization, and mentorship skills to the soccer field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Fullerton (2006) and an MBA from the University of Phoenix (2013). Theresa is married with three children (ages 7, 5, and 3) and is thrilled to be a part of the TSA family, where she can give back to the game she loves and support the next generation of soccer stars.

ASHLEY RUSS
Ashley grew up running around the soccer fields and playing as a kid while her dad, John Berra, coached and played. Needless to say, she fell in love with the game! She played competitive soccer in St. Louis and Memphis for many different clubs and was a member of the TN ODP team. She was a 4 year High School starter and leading goal scorer for multiple seasons. Ashley played D1 college soccer at the University of Memphis, where she started her Freshman year. She helped lead her team to Conference USA championships all 4 years. Junior year, she received the second-team all-American award and also received Offensive Player of the Year. Throughout college, Ashley helped coach numerous soccer camps consisting of college-level to youth recreational. She has over 35 years of combined playing and coaching experience and is also a personal trainer and competes in National Crossfit competitions. Coach Ashley holds the US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.

DENIN SPRIGGS
Denin Spriggs brings an impressive blend of international playing experience and growing coaching expertise to our TSA coaching team. Born and raised in South Africa, Dennin's soccer journey has taken him across the globe, playing for clubs including Matatiele Hotspurs (South Africa), Montpellier HSC (France), Atletico Benalmadena (Spain), FK Utenis (Lithuania), FK Auda (Latvia), and the Sharks Academy (South Africa). In the U.S., he competed at Murray State College and The University of Mobile, and went on to play semi-professionally with Side FC and Texas Spurs. Denin captained multiple teams throughout his career, trained with top-tier European academies, and earned trials with professional clubs abroad. He played a pivotal role in leading Murray State College to their first-ever NJCAA regional championship title. Transitioning into coaching, Denin has served in a variety of roles as Assistant – Daphne Rangers, Assistant – Gulf Coast Rangers, Head Coach – West Florida Soccer Club, and Women’s Volunteer Assistant Coach – Murray State College. He holds his USSF Grassroots License as well as the French FA U13 Module, and is passionate about helping players grow both technically and personally. Off the field, Denin is a Property Accountant at Silver Tree Residential, and holds an MBA with a focus in Accounting from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He is married to his wife, Taylor Spriggs, and is excited to continue sharing his love for the game with the next generation of players at TSA.

NICOLE VANCE
Coach Nicole Vance has been a dedicated coach with Arlington Rec Soccer since 2019, leading both of her children’s teams and discovering a true passion for teaching the game. Her soccer journey began in 3rd grade, playing competitive soccer in Tipp City, OH. She went on to become a three-year varsity starter at Tippecanoe High School before continuing her love for the sport at The Ohio State University, where she played co-ed club soccer. Beyond the field, Nicole holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2011) and earned her Orthopaedic Specialty Certification in 2013. She brings a love of the game as well as her knowledge of injury prevention to the field, helping young players develop the skills and confidence to be successful. Coach Nicole is currently pursuing her US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.

GARTH WARD
Garth Ward's journey is defined by excellence both on and off the field. Graduating as valedictorian from Todd Beamer High School set the stage for his remarkable achievements. With three years each at Sparta United and Washington Premier, Garth showcased his exceptional soccer talent. His prowess caught the eye of Crossfire, where he spent two rewarding years, earning him the opportunity to be evaluated by the Seattle Sounders S2. Garth was also named MVP at the prestigious Manchester United Camp, affirming his skill and dedication to the sport. Off the field, Garth has made a significant impact in the real estate industry. Since 2013, he has been a top-performing Real Estate Agent, facilitating transactions totaling over $1 billion. Balancing his professional success with family life, Garth is a devoted husband and father of two. His leadership, both on and off the field, exemplifies dedication, integrity, and a strong pursuit of success. Coach Garth holds the US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.

MARTIN WEICKOWSKI
Martin, a Memphis, TN native, grew up playing competitive youth soccer, earning a state championship title and reaching the semifinals of regionals. A 2021 graduate of Christian Brothers High School, he played both soccer and football, securing another state championship in his senior year. His playing career includes appearances in top international youth tournaments such as the Derry City Cup, MIT, USYS National League, USYS Tennessee State Tournament, USYS Region 3 Championships, Italy Academy Soccer Championship, and the UPSL Soccer League (Tier 5 of the American Soccer Pyramid). He has competed against renowned clubs like Celtic FC, Juventus, Hearts FC, and Fluminense FC. Martin has played in several countries, including England, Scotland, Ireland, Brazil, Spain, and Italy. His collegiate soccer journey includes stints at the University of West Alabama (NCAA D2) and Blue Mountain College (NAIA). With six years of coaching experience, Martin has worked with players of all ages, from young children to high school teams, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to player development. Coach Martin holds the US Soccer Federation Grassroots License.
