TSA Junior Academy
The Junior program, available exclusively to 8U & 7U players, grants access to licensed coaching, age-appropriate skills training, and the development of tactical awareness. Emphasizing individual skill enhancement, fostering a passion for the sport, and nurturing a sense of camaraderie and teamwork are central objectives of the Junior program. Fall 2025 Program Information
The 2025 Fall season is open to players born in 2018 and 2019. Evaluations are required to join the program to ensure proper placement and a great developmental experience for each player. The cost for the season is $325, plus a uniform fee of approximately $65. This 16-week program includes 24 training sessions and 8 games, all played in our Lakeland Recreational League. Players born in 2019 will participate in a co-ed 4v4 format within the 8U division. Players born in 2018 will compete in a single-gender 7v7 format within the 10U division. In the event we do not have enough players to form a single-gender team for 2018 birth years, those players may be placed in the co-ed 2019 division.
Expectations
In our Junior Academy program, we hold a set of expectations designed to foster a positive and enriching experience for every young player. First and foremost, our emphasis is on learning and skill development, encouraging each child to explore and enhance their soccer abilities in a supportive environment.
We prioritize the element of fun, aiming to instill a love for the game that will stay with them throughout their journey. Alongside this, we expect participants to pay attention during training sessions, fostering a focused and engaged mindset. Respecting others, both teammates and coaches, is paramount, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
We also encourage a strong work ethic, teaching kids the value of dedication and effort in their pursuits. Punctuality is essential, instilling the importance of showing up on time to foster a sense of responsibility and commitment.
Through these expectations, we aim to cultivate not just soccer skills but also fundamental life values that will endure beyond the soccer field.
