Staff Requirements & Safety

In efforts to provide the safest and most productive learning environment for your child, we require all of our staff and volunteer coaches to complete the following training and safety courses.

These courses are not only required by our organization but required by Tennessee State Soccer Association and US Soccer for safe play. All volunteer coaches will also attend our provided coaching clinics and/or complete their grassroots diploma through US Soccer and follow the academy-provided curriculum that is overseen by our recreational director.

  • All coaches/trainers are required to take Abuse Awareness Training.
  • All coaches/trainers are required to take Concussion Training.
  • All coaches/trainers are required to take Cardiac Arrest Training.
  • All coaches/trainers must pass a background check.
  • All coaches/trainers are required to follow our Code of Conduct.
  • All coaches/trainers are required to report any and all suspected forms of abuse within 24 hours as stated by the policy.

Spring 2023 Lakeland Soccer Registration

Online registration is now open for the 2023 Spring Recreational Season in Lakeland. The deadline to register is February 13th with the season beginning on March 20th. The Spring season will be back at the amazing Lakeland Prep Athletic Annex fields with beautiful fields, lights, bathrooms, and much more. Don’t miss out! Register Today!


TSA/Lakeland Partners with the Virtual Director of Coaching

Virtual Director of Coaching (VDOC) is an innovative online platform that provides a comprehensive range of features for administrators, volunteer coaches, and players. The platform connects and integrates the entire team on and off the field, providing training material, coaching guidelines and tutorials, session planning, player education, and much more. All Lakeland volunteer coaches and players will have access to this platform for the Spring 2022 Season.
